Hey bluegrassz, how happy are you with your current setup? I am planning to build almost the exact same combo. Going to use the new 195 eliminators though. Why are you using the holley instead of your demon?

Yeah, I am very satisfied with my combo. There is more in it, tires just cant handle it. lol. I plan on doing either a 355 or 383 later on. I will work the heads and intake a little more. And go with a larger hyd-roller cam or a solid roller cam. Right now the car is a strong street car. I should be in the low 12's come spring with better tires, carb, and good air.
The holley I have has some alterations to it and works fairly well. I do however plan on selling both carbs and going to a Holley HP.
Money has been sent for the Demon, Looks like the holley will be up for sale also.

BUMP!!!!!
Friends trying to pay his radiation treatment bills.
Hes 34 year old and had to have some cancer removed.
Its a good build. Rods/block/crank was all checked at the machine shop before build. All the clearances have been double/triple checked.
Just a good set of heads and intake and it will be a strong runner.

This would be a real good shortblock to put your heads and intake onto.
My friend had the motor built an needs to pay some of his doctor bills.
We can ship if anyone wanted to pay for the shipping. Its located in KY just a few miles of Interstate 75. Very easy to find. May be willing to deliver within so many miles, or meet half way.

He had built it up as a 388. He decided to build a 408 and used the crank and rods out of this block. So the block is clearanced for a stroker crank. It is bored .060 over and has a stock 3.48 stroke 350 crank in it. Which means it is now a .060 over 350. The crank, rods and block have all been checked. The pistons/cam/lifter/bearings/rings are all new.
I dont think he would want to trade on the 427, but I can ask him.
Were are you located at?

should be a 360ci as it stands.
do you happen to know what the wall thickness is on the thrust side of each cylinder? .60 is quite an overbore for some blocks.

Yeap, you got it 360!
I can check the thickness. He had ran the motor with no problems at all. He went to a 408 is the only reason he is not using the block.
Oh yeah, The center line on the block is centered. Sometimes you can notice core shift in some blocks, but this one is dead on. Definatly a plus with it bored 60 over.

I cant find any numbers on the thickness, and the oil pan is already on.
He ran it as a 388 with no problem.

My budget is $600. I am looking for a good shortblock for my Chevy truck. I wouldn't need the cam. I am about 4 hours away from there in WV. Not trying to bring your price down but if he can't find a buyer my offer stands.
