I don't know what it's worth but how about 70$ shipped?
----------
One thing, it's has two bolts to bolt to the headers? I don't know if they have different ones.

My zip is 10918. I looked on summit but I was probably looking at the wrong y pipe, but it was only like 65 dollars.
It is the 2 bolt flange correct?

I just wanted to jump into your conversation and add that I recently ordered the edelbrock Y-pipe from summit and HOLY S*** was it a pain in the ***. I had to order it in two pieces, the first of which took about a month to arrive. The second took two and a half. When the second piece arrived, they forgot the flange to connect it to the header, and the diameter was just slightly too big for the donut gaskets. I had to modify. A week later they sent me the flange which was the wrong size. I waited another week before I recieved the correct one. All together It took over three months to recieve this Y-pipe when it was promised in two weeks. With shipping it cost me between $140-$150. Man I wish I knew about YOUR Y- pipe before I placed the order. Anyway sorry to waste your time, just still pissed off about the ordeal and considering that you are dealing with that exact part, thought you might appreciate my tangent. Carry on.
----------
Tom,
The y-pipe you saw was only HALF of the y-pipe. The other half is called the crossover pipe which is ALSO $65. If you look at the description it will say somewhere that the crossover pipe is required.

Now i'm confused, and I hope your not trying to get rid of yours because you had similar problems. Is everything included except the gaskets to mount this y pipe to the headers. Are both flanges included.
I'm probably going to buy these ones, but I don't know why the one header looks like it has a different flange. I could've sworn my last pair of edelbrock headers both had the same flange. I think I had the exact pair.
eBay Motors: 82-92 chevy camaro edelbrock shorty headers (item 8070956682 end time Jun-02-06 21:13:09 PDT)
If everything is there I will send a money order tomorrow, I would've today but I got on the computer late, and I have something to do.
Thanks for the information.

no problem the flange for the crossover is not included with the ypipe when u just buy the y pipe from summit or edel brock see when i needed one i accidently overed two and paid for both that is why i have an extra one i did not use the second flange is in the install kit for the headers. u can buy a flang from advanced auto they carry the flange and it fits perfect.

I'm still somewhat confused, my y pipe was one piece from the headers to the cat. Did they change it to a 2 peice design? Does the crossover go to the cat? Do either of you know if it will fit the headers that I posted a link to?
thanks

I just saw a pic, it is 2 pieces. I thought it was all one piece from the driver side header to the y. I'm guessing that's the 2 seperate pieces your talking about. I will mail a money order tomorrow if I win the auction for the headers tonight.

I didn't see much info as far as part numbers for the headers listed in the link, but the y-pipe goes to edelbrock header part number 6872, which fits camaro/firebird 82-92. They appear to be the correct headers. The headers and y-pipe together for this application are technically referred to as a tubular exhaust system or TES. If I had to put money on it I would say the headers in the link are correct, they are certainly for the correct application.

Thanks again.
I was all excited to take my firebird out today, because I got done installing the motor and trans. It took way too long for me to get where I am, but that's what happens on your first rebuild . I was just gonna drive it around the lawn. But when I was done I backed it into the garage, and there are 205s on the front from the last owner and I dented the ****ing oil pan. I had a board to drive on, but it slipped, and I couldn't go forward. So instead of jacking up the front, like a fuktard I just went. I didn't think there was that much of a lip on the concrete edge. At least it doesn't leak, because i've just about lost my mind with this pos, and there's no way i'm changing the oil pan. I wish I knew more than I did, i'm young and this was my first project this big, and I just kept getting kicked in the nuts.
Now when I go to install the exhaust I guarantee I will run into trouble because I used the ****ing ES motor mounts, and someone made custom subframe connectors. I hope it didn't raise the motor too much. If not I will have to cut it out.
Point being, you think you ran into trouble, rebuilding a motor for the first time, swapping rears, and trans cases is a motherfuker.

Dude, I hate to bring up really bad news, but if you caved the bottom of the oilpan, you may be interfering with the oil pickup. If this is the case, you could run into serious engine trouble down the road. I know this is the last thing you want to hear right now, but now is the time to fix the problem if that is the case. If it is only a ding, fine, leave it. But if you really f***ed it up, you HAVE to remedy the situation before it gets serious. After doing the kind of work you just did, MAKE THE TIME TO FIX THIS. Anyway, good luck either way dude.

Yeh, I thought about that after I did it. I dented the rear of the oil pan pretty bad, but the pick up was a bolt on kevko pickup so i'm sure it's still attached. I wouldn't throw all this away, i'm pretty sure it didn't get dented that bad where it is going to interfere with the pickup. It was an aftermarket kevko oil pan, I honestly don't have the patience anymore, and i'm guessing the trans has to come out, so the motor can get raised up enough. If the oil pressure is still good, than i'm going to leave it.
