IceManRS305 ....... Yes. It is still for sale!

BKbandit ....... It is a DIRECT replacement. If you can remove the old one, you can install the new one. The only thing you change is the electrical wiring to the injectors. It comes with a new harness (a total of 4 wires) and color coded instructions. You can simply use 'butt' type crimp connectors or you can solder the wires.

I have this exact same unit on my CJ7 Jeep with a hot 360. It was a bit of work to hook it up but worth every bit of effort. Having the ability to adjust it with the twist of a **** is amazing!

TT Top for ya!

Well ........... I know that you'll probably think that I am biased. But I'll tell you the truth (which is why I bought the unit in the first place). A TBI set-up will offer you great performance. But, the most advantageous aspect of TBI is simplicity. It is cheaper to employ and maintain. Service is incredibly simple if not practically non-existent. Tuning is easy, especially with the new EBL computer. It is an all-around solid system.

MPFI is complicated. It is much more expensive to employ, service, and maintain.

If I remember correct (and I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong) the mpi engines had better high rpm power and the tpi cars had better low rpm tork. Like I mentioned earlier, the ease of tuning make the projection desirable.

my $.02
