GOOD ENGINE CHEAP!!!!

 

Could you please give me some details on the engine? 2 bolt or 4 bolt? Year? and where in S. Indiana are you? How far away from Columbus, IN? Thanks.

 

the engine is a 92 TBI from a chevy caprice police car. i don't know if it's 2 or 4 bolt main because i haven't had the oil pan off. before if i put in a used motor i would take the pan off to replace the bearings and oil seals but this ran so good i wasn't going to bother with it. i'm located in vincennes in. i'm not sure how far i am from columbus without looking at a map but i know it's a good drive, maybe 2hrs.???? engine is complete:starter a/c compressor, p/s pump,including high out put alternator from the police car. exhaust manifolds have been removed but are included if you want them. i was going to clean it up and paint it before puting it in the car(dust, dirt ect.)no oil leaks, no smoke, no noise, good engine

i paid $400 but i will take $300 if you come get it, shipping an engine would be very expensive but i don't know how much. i thought i was getting a good deal when i bought it from a friend of mine for $400 so i consider $300 for a good running engine cheap.

 

Any Pics? Idea on mileage? Vin? I could setup all the shipping if you would be willing to strap it to a pallet.

It's a roller cam engine right? Any intrest in a good 2 bolt sbc 400 block? It's already been acid dipped and checked for cracks and came out good.
