up for sale is a 99.9% brand new Jasper rebuilt 700r4. it was ordered for a 88' GTA with the 350TPI motor. i say nearly new because, while i did install this trans, it was only so i could drive it around the shop lot where i kept the car

long story short - i aquired an 88' GTA with a salvage title with the intent on fixing it up and driving it everyday. one of the repairs needed to make it roadworthy was a new trans. i ordered one from Jasper 3 years ago, and installed it so the other techs and i wouldnt have to push the car every time we wanted to move it around the lot, or in and out of the shop. however, some time after, i simply could not return the title beyond the "salvage" status. so i decided to part it out, and i removed the new trans and stored it in my parents garage

so as you can see, the trans has absolutely no miles on it, it was just basically driven around a parking lot a few times. also, since it has been 3 years, the Jasper warrenty has expired. i am selling this trans (even though it is brand new) AS IS. i will not know the mechanical ability of the person who purchases it and the possibility of misinstallation, and or misadjustment is not a liability i am willing to cover
