Midwest 700r-4 lockup 12" converter f/s!!
I'm listing this converter for friend who doesn't have access to a computer. Its a midwest 2400rpm lockup converter for 700r-4 trannies, it has the anti-balooning plates for use with forced induction, furnaced brazed hubs a lot of other premium parts that makes a solid converter. I can personally vouch for this converter having about 1100 street miles on it (no racing of any kind). I know when this converter was bought, installed, the miles on it and when it was pulled. It was pulled because he upgraded to another midwest converter but went with a 10" 3200 stall unit. I wouldn't want anybody on here to buy a piece of sh*t. He's looking for $150 shipped to your door, I can provide pics on your request.

sorry guys, I left town before thanksgiving and now just got back. He was able to get around 2000-2200rpms footbraking it and his brakes are by no means wonderful either. I would think any converter builder thats worth a sh*t should be able to restall the unit....TexasShilouette, he ordered that converter with his own specs so its not an "off the shelf" one so to speak. Its a very firm converter but I told him from day one he was gonna need more stall with the cam and intake on his motor but he didn't listen

I'm still interested if we can find out if it has an anti-baloon plate on it. I can't imagine he bought a custom converter without one but it does happen. I'm running 180HP N2O from the launch and would like the added comfort of the stronger plate.

Texas, it does have the anti-balooning plate...I said it in the post. I got some more info from him about the converter which said it had a stall torque ratio of 2.4, so it is tight enough so nitrous, boost etc. doesn't blow right through it. They warrantied it up to a 200hp shot but anything over that don't even call them, they don't wanna hear it. We don't know how it feels with nitrous because none was ever used with it...its really a solid converter and he showed me the original receipt for $452.68 shipped to him, so its definitely a steal for 150 bones. I'd think its about the ideal stall for mild 350-383 with anywhere from a 125-200 shot of juice depending on what cam and intake is being used.

I read that post three times and still missed it, I'm loosing my mind I'm certain. Sorry about that.
Shoot me a picture please, if I don't see any reason to pass, I'll risk the $150 on it.
