I have finally gotten the trans out of the 83 T/A I am parting out. I never drove the car but the trans seems Ok. I don't think I would put it in something else until it got new brass anyway. The only thing I could see or feel is the input shaft has a little play in it. I can put it in gear and every gear seems to go in fine plus reverse. The speedo was showing 130,000 miles on it.

Here is what I have:

Shifter
T-5 Transmission Part#1352-028
Manual Clutch Bellhousing
Manual Clutch Z-BAR and the other hardware that goes with it.
Clutch Fork
Clutch Pedal Assembly
Crossmember with bolts
Shifter

Everything goes for $500.00 I am not separating anything. I will post it here for a week and then it goes to Ebay. Prefer local pickup but I am sure it will get expensive to ship long distance.

I will throw in the console for it for 50 more dollars if it does not sell on Ebay.

I will throw in the 83 5-speed console for a low price of 400.00 complete with everything else in the post before.

 

The Transmission parts are all sold. Thanks to 3rd Gen except the console.
