Pep up your 700-R4

Here's some stuff to pep up your 700-R4. All parts are new in box - never used. I bought them for my 1991 Camaro but sold it before I ever installed them.

TransGo Junior Shift Kit - Valve Body, Accumulator, and Governor Parts

Corrects/Prevents/Reduces: FIXES late shifts - Sticking TV Valve. 3-4 clutch failure; soft or slide-bump 1-2; 2-3 cutloose; shuttle 4-3-4-3; soft or late 4th.



TransGo Servo Piston & Guide Package - 2nd - Smallest Diameter (a.k.a. Corvette Servo Kit)
82 - up 700-R4 & 4L60E

Description:
700R4 Corvette intermediate servo. This is the servo that comes from the factory in Corvettes and high performance Camaros. This is the best one GM makes. Also fits 4L60E transmissions. Includes 2 teflon seals one red and one blue o- rings. ready to update.

why do you say governor for the junior shift kit? does it have the recalibration setup?

I apologize, but I am not very versed in transmission stuff. To be honest, I did a Google search based on the info on the box and I copied and pasted the info into the post. You can probably get more information by doing a search on the part number and the word "TransGo". According to the documentation, you can contact TransGo product support at (626) 443-7451.

Here is what some of the paperwork states on the instructions page. "Corrects/reduces: TV won't adjust -- Late or no 4th. Soft, Bang or Slide Bump 1-2. 2-3 Cutloose---Falls out of 4th. The kit installs easily with the trans in the vehicle or on the bench."

From what I understand, these parts are basically to remedy some of the weak spots that are common in the 700-R4 and make it more responsive. I bought this a few years ago based on the recommendation of a friend of mine who rebuilds transmissions. He was going to install it in my Camaro but we never got around to it before I sold it. These items were just sitting in my garage, new in the box.
