i have a set of modified spindles, modified hubs with new longer studs, and custom spindle to abutment brakets for sale. They were recently done and painted and have never been installed on a car. Alright, I'm gonna be the one with the stupid question here. You said modified to fit "a car" does that mean it was modified to fit in a stock 3rd gen? also do you have the front calipers or rotors? and if they were modified to fit a 3rd gen, do you still need spacers to fit 4th gen or corvette wheels on these and clear the fender well?

 

if you do a search on the brake board you will find all of the info about the c5 brake upgrade for 3rd gens. it requires some modification to the stock spindle, cutting the stock rotor/hub to a hub only and making a custom braket to attach the abutment for the c5 calipers. i had 2 sets made when i did mine just in case and they came out perfect, so i am selling the other set. you will still need to get the abutment brackets, calipers, rotors, pads, and brake lines. all these part #'s can be found doing a search on the brake board. This set up makes your wheel spacing about a .25" wider so i would say yes you would still need spacers to run 4th gen wheels.

i think the abutment braket holes for the ls1 an c5 are a little different. but i am not for sure. the rotors would have the same hole pattern so they would work but i am not for sure about the spindle to abutment brakets.
