what are these headers coated in? are these 2460's?

Should work fine on the 305, they are for sbc, used them on our 350.

Yep, these are 2460's, ceramic coated. They are not perfect, but darn close, some surface rust, should be visible in pix. Went to full length as we pulled car off the street and use to race only.

I have the same ones on my 305. made a nice difference in power and sound.

 

What Ypipe would I use with these?

 

Either a custom one, or modify your stock one a bit and use the 3 bolt flange connectors, or purchase the hooker one for $200. I chose the hooker one with the test pipe (no cat) for my setup since it bolts right on.

It went up in price since I got mine a couple of months ago, I paid $203 in late december.

 

Not sure exactly, search Jegs or Holley (Hooker) for starts, we ran straight pipes off of these. I know Hooker makes one, probably much cheaper ways to go though, I'm sure some searches on this site will get you there.

Whoever buys these, which I have the exact ones, make sure you open the hooker ypipe to 3", it only comes in 2-3/4" or 2-2/2", I can't remember which. Check my sig.
