Re: T-5 FS
I don't know if its a world class but it is whatever came stock in an 88 IROC Z. I doesn't have the bellhousing (needed it for the T56) shifter or any linkage. This is just the bare transmission.

Re: T-5 FS
Hey i'm interested. Could I get some pictures? What is the condition of the tranny right now? Did you pull it because it was getting worn out or did you just really want to upgrade to a T-56?

Re: T-5 FS
Sure I can take a bunch of pics for you. I pulled the tranny because I am running a 3.70 gear coupled with the high 5th gear I was screaming down the highway (67mph=2500 RPM!!!!!). So I swapped in a 6 speed so I can drive the car around at speed. Shoot me an email so I can send you some pics, I have no idea how to post pics on the board.

Re: T-5 FS
That speedo is a straight swap out. Very easy... If your tranny is working fine, all you need is the speedo mechanism. You don't have to tear into the transmission, just get a mechanical unit.

Also, you wouldn't happen to have the Clip that holds the throw out Bearing in place and the Torque Arm Mount.

Fort Hood is 45min N. of Houston. I just drove to Houston last weekend it took just over 2 hours. If you wanted it we could meet halfway or work something out. Email at japcarsRslow@aol.com if you want to meet up or need pics.
