I am selling this Abbott Cable X Box. The box will drive a mechanical speedometer using electronic pluses generated from a transmission intended for and electronic speedometer. This is what you need if you want to run a T56 or 4L60E transmission in a Camaro or Firebird equipped with a mechanical speedometer. I used this in my 87 Camaro when I swapped in my T56 until I realized my tranny needed rebuilt so I took it out and decided to sell it. I only put 30 miles on the car when this box was installed. It works just fine, I just can’t return it to Abbott because I’ve had it longer than 30 day. I paid $310 for it. I’ll sell it for $285. My loss is your gain. This box should work with any electronic transmission and GM mechanical speedometer. It can be calibrated based on axel ratio, tire size, & transmission pluses. I also have the pigtail to fit the T56 electronic speed sensor that I will sell for $10. GM no longer make this part and I had to pay $20 to get one.
