Holley Q-Jet Computer Controlled Carb
I have a newer holley computer controlled quadrajet carb. It was installed in August of 2003 on my rebuilt L-69 HO automatic.
The flow rating is 825cfm (engine had BIG cam and heads lol)
The carb cost $400 new, and im asking $150 (shipped anywhere in the continental US
)

Re: Holley Q-Jet Computer Controlled Carb
So did Holley just rebuild a stock quadrajet? never saw one of these before. I'm running a CCC carb on my 1987 and looking to use the system on a 350, would this be plug & play, and any performance upgrade over a stock Quadrajet?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Holley Q-Jet Computer Controlled Carb
Holley remanufactured the carb, but not to stock specs...I know this one flows 825cfm--it was used on my rebuilt 305 which had a performer RPM camshaft (lot of cam for such a small displacement lol), and rebuilt heads w/ bigger valves and springs
I'm no expert on whether it would be enough to support a 350, although if I had to guess it would be. And I'm not sure if it would be plug and play also...When my motor was rebuit EVERYTHING was hooked back up, the computer, all the controls etc. My car was an 84z/28 l69 auto, so I'm not too sure of the differences in controls and computer hookups from an 84 to an 87

Yeah, out of the box the Holley remans are not unlike the Champion remans (althought I think the Holley are supposed to be better quality)

How many miles on it since the rebuild? Will you ship to Canada through United States Postal? Were/are you willing to do the $100?

From the time of the rebuild to the time of the death I probably drove the car ~1000 miles as it was stored for the winter from mid october 03-late march 04
