gmpp gold billet roller cam for sale.

gmpp part number 12370847. I ran it in my 96 lt1 and pulled it to sell the car and put it in my 92 because it worked so well. Idles with 60kpa and would pull hard to 6800 in a stock bottom end lt4 motor with afr 190 heads. Car ran 11s at 120 to 124 depending on the weather. Awesome cam but being inbetween jobs forces me to have to let it go and now wait to make a change on the 92. It is billet and has around 5000 miles give or take a few. Was set up with the correct springs and is in like new condition. This is what they call gold billet and is known to be the best material you can make a cam from. What all the 300+ race cams and nascar make there cams from. Was 275 new and taking serious offers. Made 420 @ the wheels in the 350 and driveabliity was better than expected for as big as it is on the duration. Would have been awesome in my 383 in my 92 firebird with a hsr intake but will have to wait now. 234 242 @ .050 and 539 558 with 1.5 or 575 595 with 1.6 on a 112 for good drivability. Ran it with 1.5 rockers but always wanted to see what it would do with 1.6 and the afrs as I was told that was the way it was ground to be run and made the most power. Just never got around to running the 1.6 combo. Very impressive cam. Best way to make sure I get your message asap is to email me at lt1z350@bellsouth.net. I will try to check here daily too. Can send pics if wanted.

is there anyway this cam would pass emmissions...with cats...just the sniffer test? also how bad was it to tune this big of a cam? how would it run with a fully ported edelbrock, SLP TPI setup?

Re: gmpp gold billet roller cam for sale.

It is on a 112 and really the only change I made to the ve tables was to fix the idle and I ran it with 30 lbs injectors so I trimed the whole table by 4 % then bumped up the 90 and 100 kpa table. For as big as it is I could run down the road at 16 to 1800 and not kick and buck. I have found gm grinds no matter how nasty always have good driveability . For emisssions you can get anything to pass with some rubbing alcohol and alot of heat in the engine. I had to get my 94 to pass 6 years ago here in fl when we still had to do it with a bigger solid roller. 258 264 @ 50 and 630 660 lift. I unplugged the fans got it to 240 to 250 and had the mix in the tank and blew right on threw and failed for no cats. But it blew clean and was a 10.50 car. 13.5to1 comp. Nasty booger. I liked the cam enough to go through the trouble of pulling it from the 96 to put it in th 92 but now money is tight and will have to wait.
