Re: crane solid roller lifters

if anyone has a pro 5.0 shifter or any short throw shifter i would consider trades. just some ideas for trades: 5 spd pedals, clutch hyd. assembly, short throw shifter, and hood louvers.

Re: crane solid roller lifters

i believe that they are 11515-16 at summit racing they sell for 305.95 so after tax and shipping from summit i think it would be around 350-360 dollars for new ones. so i think that $300 shipped would be a good deal for only being in a motor for one pass?

Re: crane solid roller lifters

Actually there is NO tax thru Summit, only shipping of $8 so that is only about $315. They have been installed and used, if only once, my offer would be $250 at this point.

summit taxes the states that they have stores in...hudjoes and i live in GA, where there is a summit right up the street...not that that makes a difference.

Re: crane solid roller lifters

hudjoes, I don't think Slush92RS was knocking your stuff, rather just saying that he would only pay 'x' amount for parts that had been used. He didn't say they weren't worth it, or that they were lame - just that he would offer $250.

Which isn't bad, because with used parts you might lose warranty/return rights, etc.

Don't take it personally, if your price is good, someone will buy them!

Re: crane solid roller lifters

I didn't think he was doing that, but I can see how you might think he was.

The world is full of people who lie and tell stories about parts, so I guess it's prudent for someone to hedge their bets a little when buying anything mechanical second hand.

If he said 'yeah, right just one pass...' I could see you getting defensive. Don't worry about it. Most of us are honest people just looking to buy, sell and talk third gen's with like minded car lovers.

Posting a pic of the actual part you are selling will probably make people more confortable that the part isn't worn, etc.

Good luck!
