I am selling my 1991 Corvette 5.7 L98 Vin 8 motor and my 700R4 Transmission together. Both are in excellent condition.

The motor came from a 1991 Corvette. The Corvette had 17,828 miles on it when I bought it. It was parked on the street at night and a drunk driver smashed into it from the rear and it was totaled. Their was no damage to the engine compartment or the engine.

I made the modifications to the engine for it to work in my Camaro. All of the accessories from the Corvette motor was removed. The Alternator, AC compressor, Power steering, smog pump water pump and serpentine belt and pulleys and fans.

Replaced all of the items with the correct Camaro parts. Replaced the oil pan with a Camaro pan.

Installed billet after market serpentine pulleys.

The motor is stock. The Plenum has been modified along with other parts of the TPI unit. All in great condition. The throttle body has a hyper foil in it. Headers and a cat back exhaust will also be available for purchase.

The 700R4 was rebuilt and has just a little over 10 k miles on it. All parts were Hi-performance parts for the trans. The clutches, the servo, the valve body has been modified with a shift kit.

$2,000 for the motor and transmission.

What kind of headers and cat back are they? How much?

 

I'm not sure what brand of headers they are. The Y pipe came with them and the muffler is a Flowmaster. I would rather sell the system with the motor or after the motor is sold if who ever buys it does not want the exhaust.
