ive never heard anything about cutting floorpans when installing sfc's someone correct me if im wrong though.

Competition Engineering are the only brand that requires cutting the floor, as they are 100% straight & do not conform to the floor contours, like other brands.
Otherwise, I woulda bought yours already at that price.

yea, i put those in my 86 IROC and it was a serious pain, serious cutting of the floor boards and fabrication to the sfc's themselves cause they don't really sit anywhere near the rear subframe. but, they were alright for me because it is a drag car, and i would guess they would be a little less prone to twisting cause they are straight but i don't really know... and you can't run the exhaust in the factory location because the sfc's sit right in the way. they are not really the thing for a street car, i'd say race car only.

Only the bolt in SFC from Comp Eng dont require cutting.

Weld ins are the ones that require all the cutting, bolt ins should bolt right in.
