So Dave, how about it? Any closer to getting this sent out to me? I've PM'd you numerous times but haven't heard back from you since 5/31 when you said you'd be sending it out the next week. I'll gladly take my money back if you're not going to send the parts.

 

I'm going to bump this to see if maybe it will get TorqueTilla's attention. It's been 10 days since I last posted and still haven't gotten the parts or heard back from him. Today marks 4 months since he took my money order and then failed to produce the parts, and nearly 2 1/2 months since I last heard from him. He's trying to sell a hood scope in another add, buyer beware.

 

Man, he's got some ***** if your parts did not come yet and he's trying to sell something else. This is one way paypal works wonders.

So it's OK to rip someone off thru USPS, but not in person?!?!? The truth of the matter is that you took my money 4 months ago, promised me for 1 1/2 months that you'd send out my parts, then stopped responding to my PM's for the last 2 1/2 months and I still don't have my parts or my money back. I just don't want to see anyone else get themselves into the same situation.

 

It's a federal offense to take someones money via USPS and a postal money order and never send the merchandise.

Exactly. You've been saying you were going to be sending the parts out ASAP from 4/12 thru 5/31, then nothing, not one reply to my PM's, for the next 2 1/2 months. Not until I posted in this add did you even acknowledge me. You complete your end of the deal and I will gladly edit my posts and the Classified Feedback entry and state that you made good on the deal. But when you create a new For Sale entry for the same item I paid for months ago, I feel obligated to let others know what I have experienced.

If you JUST lost your job, then explain why you didn't ship in the weeks proceeding when you were still working. Excuses, excuses, and more excuses seem to be the common thread with people of don't deliver when they say they will.

This is what gives us sellers a bad rap because of people like you. It's why there is a feedback rating system here now. People wanna know if your going to really deliver on your parts your selling or are they going to have to wait and hear nothing for 4 months..

I wouldn't even think about taking his negative feedback away. People need to know these things. Hard times or not, $75 DOES NOT GROW ON TREES.

And if someone pays you for an item you have and pays or the shipping also (3-4 months ago mind you).....WTF does you loosing your job recently have to do with that.
Im jobless right now too. But when someone buys something I have for sale, my priority is to get it shipped to them ASAP and use the money in the transaction for that 1st and foremost. Not go and spend that money and then not have any left for shipping.

I have one that's complete and in excellent shape, along with a KN filter and various rods and hangers, and I doubt that I'd get an offer at that price. Simply another excuse for not doing the right thing: either ship the piece or return the payment. Simple.
