This complete 305 was removed from a wrecked 1988 Camaro several years ago. I didn't remove the engine but was told by the former owner that it had less than 80K and ran great..that's why he saved the engine. The valve covers and oil pan were pulled to check inside. It is a very clean engine, no metal, no sludge..just a great looking roller engine. I have had it a "few" years now and it has always been stored inside. As you can see it is a pretty complete package. Don't have the harness or ECM..do have the dual snorkle and MAF. I'd let the whole thing go for $350..I'm right on the Canadian border in NY near Vermont.

I should have mentioned that I don't want to break it up..but I'm sure I have an extra serp setup in my collection..I'll take a look tomorrow. Trying to clean out up my TPI MAF stuff. I have the distributor cover to go along with this engine.

Looks like I have enough to put one complete set together..I need to know what "exactly" you need (ie no AC compressor, no PS pump etc) I have a container of collected bolts and could match them up if absolutely neccessary....could also bead blast the parts etc...

The lower set came of an 89 IROC

Have any extra harness sections around? I need the alternator connector for a 90-92 car (has the rectangular connector rather than the one that has a small bump on the one side). Let me know if you have anything like this seperate from your engine. Thanks!

 

Sorry, for some reason I wasn't getting updates on this thread. Will my power steering pump, AC compressor, and water pump from my V-belt work on a serp-belt? Will all the hardware from a v-belt setup work on a serp setup? Do you have any underdrive pullys for a serp belt? How much extra would you charge to get it all bead blasted?

Not 100% sure but I think your PS and A/C pump will work...but you will need a reverse flow water pump. I have them also...but they are used..and I don't know their history...would use them as cores.

Let me compare some V-Belt items tomorrow and get back to you. I'm only looking at $80 blasted and shipped CONUS for the serp setup.

R3500, no dice I am afraid. The one on the right I actually have already. I appears that the terminal on the alternator is a pur rectangular connector without the larger bump on the left side of the connector in your pic. Am I just dreaming that it is a different connector?
