Very interested if 72 vega or 89IROC dont take it. Shipping to 55336 please. With that price you can pretty much consider it SOLD.

Re: Complete Hooker/Flowmaster Exhaust System $275
Ok so i ran into a problem, i know how to solve it but before i do i want the potential buyers opinion. When i had the exhaust installed the muffler shop used the supplied clamps and put small beads on the joints. plus as u can see in the second pic they put a weld on the clamps so they cant be loosened. i got the clamp off of where the ypipe and mid pipe connect and grinded the two welds but those pipe do not want to come apart the clamp squeezed them together pretty good so what i want to do is cut them with my recipricating saw where i placed a red line in pic 3. this will allow them to easily be rejoined. and then on the muffler i want to cut the tip pipes where the red lines are in pic 1. with all this done i should be able to get the entire system into two boxes trying to save on the shipping. plus one good note cause i know shipping will probably be rough i have a 10% off cupon on the shipping that will come in handy...so id like to get the go ahead from 72vega and a back up ok from 89irocz28 b4 i do these cuts then ill throw them into the boxes and sit them on my scale and give yall a quote sorry for the hassle and thanks for bearing with me. I mean this is a pretty good deal IMO and im glad you guys are being patient.

Re: Complete Hooker/Flowmaster Exhaust System $275
understood on the cuts. one thing tho, on the tail pipes, could you cut them a little further into the straight section ( a little closer to the tips, but not much) of them instead of right next to the bends?

Re: Complete Hooker/Flowmaster Exhaust System $275
also, just wondering where the intermediate pipe is in all this? is that whats welded to the y pipe and not fully pictured? does it just connect back up to that small pipe going into the muffler? will the mounts for the hangers hook up in the factory locations?? thanks

Re: Complete Hooker/Flowmaster Exhaust System $275
yeah that intermediate pipe is what is connected to the y pipe but not fully pictured ull be able to tell where i cut it and put it back together. it will run all the way to right in front of the axle then there is a curved 3inch madrel bent pipe that goes over the axle into that lil pipe out of the muffler... that hanger on the passenger side will bolt right to the factory spot, and then ull have to tack weld a new hanger on the driver side. if u get the exhaust and u have any questions feel free to ask away ill make sure i give u my email adress and everything phone number too if youd like. well i was able to get all but the headers into one big "guitar box" and i got the headers in a smaller box. i also wraped the tips in paper to keep them from getting all scuffed up.. all together it weighs in at 68lbs for the big box and 18lbs for the headers...i have some quotes so check ur pms....

yeah i hope u enjoy it i loved it on my old sbc.... at idle it was so deep and sexy......but thats ok my lq4 is goin true duals even if i have to raise my IROC back up cause like i said before its retarded low lol...i scrape my k member leaving my driveway lol.....o and here is a lil sound video the day before i pulled the motor and rest of the exhaust....keep in mind that the muffler was already off in this video so its just the headers, ypipe and mid pipe to the rear axle....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EONfM8HRhhI
