Testing waters 327 with 91 TPI SD intake setup

Testing waters 327 with 91 TPI SD intake setup

Hi all,

im seeing if there is any interest in a 327 with a SD L98 upper half installed

specs:
--1968 block that was zero decked and checked for cracks and such
--bored .040 over to make it a 333ci
--2 bolt main
--summit 1103 cam 214/224 .442/.465 at 112LSA
--trw forged flat top pistons(-5.3cc)
--gm "pink rods"
--stock crank
--stock L98 heads
--stock 1991 l98 tpi setup with 24# injectors
--adjustable fuel regualtor(BBK)


the motor runs very well and is tuned(moats chip adpater)...but im looking to do a LT1 or LS1 conversion.

also up for grabs is a 3300 rpm stall for 700r4 and the trans itself

has weird isssue of not wanting to shift into 3rd at WOT.....you have to lift off the gas petal and let it shift anf then press gas down WOT. Under normal accel it shifts really good.


So again, im looking maybe around $1500 or trade for lt1/ls1 or maybe a truck 5.3L/6.0L ls series setup

entertaining ideas of tradeing the whole 1991 trans am for something esle

How did this combination perform? I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. I think we are a little far apart for me to purchase your set up but i would enjoy some feed back?

my setup really runs good but needs some kind of intake work like SLP runners or superam/HSR

the 3300 rpm stall with the current engine combo is too much and is lacking the low end grunt.

i plan one a HSR and a set of world product sportsmen II heads and larger cam for this summer......then by end of summer it will be time for a LS1 swap
