Complete L98 Pullout with 89K. *$900*
I am selling the engine out of my 89' IROC-Z. 5.7l TPI L98 Roller cam. It has around 89K Original miles on it and is still running great. It is still a factory long block with the roller cam and one piece rear main seal. It comes top to bottom from oil pan to factory exhaust manifolds, to wiring harness and computer. All sensors come with it. Here is a list of the few mods done to it.
TPIS Cam (specs unknown but it's not very big)
TPIS Big mouth lower intake Manifold
TPIS ported Runners
BBK 58mm Throttle body
It will come with both a flexplate for Automatic trans, and Flywheel that will work with an LT1 style T56 clutch. And I am sure it would work with other tranny's/clutches.
Reason I am selling is I am doing an LS1 swap and looking for more power.
This would be a great candidate for someone doing a V8 swap into something like a 280Z/S10 etc....
Gets around 16-18MPG city and over 20MPG highway. I got it dyno'd in VA back in 08' and it made 200whp and 288ft/lbs.

Smoke is from worn valve seals. It does smoke a bit on start-up and under acceleration, but I replaced the valve seals after this and the heavy smoke on deceleration went away.
I am asking $900 obo. You can contact me through a PM on the site or shoot me an email at Bykrdood7@aol.com
Thanks for looking.
Oh yea and it is located in Albuquerque NM and I prefer local pick up.

If you part out the motor, I would be interested in the TPIS Lower intake and possibly the throttle body. I'm in Alb......
Even if you don't part it out, I'd like to see your progress on the LS1 swap. I'm thinking of doing an LS on my '66 Camino. I have a 5.3, Edelbrock carb intake, Lloyd Elliot ported heads, Z06 cam.
