hi i am very interested in the chip and was wndering if the stage 1 prom had vats??? i recently swapped my 84Z to tbi but the car the harness and ecm came out of had vats so i kind of ran into a little snag.... i was able to get the car running by using a s10 4.3 vinz ecm and by-passing the starter enable relay, and it runs good but i knw its not rite and i was told the ecm wasnt the problem but actualy the prom had the vats in it, so plz let me knw

the prom number is jet # 18905

Im pretty sure it has vats enabled.
you can bypass your vats using a resistor. Locate the vats wire coming form under the column white wire with orange sleeve i belive,cut it and solder or crimp a resistor in place,use a volt/ohm meter on your ket to find the correct resistance.
