062 heads and 081 heads
Cleaning out the garage.....
062 bare Vortec heads - they have minor port work done to the bowls and exhaust ports. $400obo
081 H.O. heads - these are the 58cc high flow heads with centerbolt valve covers. They are complete with valves, springs, and retainers. The springs are aftermarket but im not sure what they are. I have had these heads to 6500RPM with no valve float and the cam is pretty lopey but i bought the car that way and i have no idea what the specs are..... sorry. $400obo
Its best to call because im not online very often. 815-526-2773

Re: 062 heads and 081 heads
Just curious, but when you say "bare" 062 vortec heads, that means no springs or valves correct?
Are the stock 3/8" studs still present or were they prepared for screw in studs?
Any other work done to them as far as allowing more lift?

Re: 062 heads and 081 heads
no springs or valves.
with http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRN-10309-1/ these heads have clearance for .575 lift with no machining. I am currently running this configuration with an LT4 Hotcam (.525 lift with 1.6 rockers) and it works great.
The studs are stock press in 3/8
