I picked up an 89 IROC for parts this past weekend. The car has **NO** motor. It was a 5.7 ltr. tuned port car. For now I'm going to be keeping the doors, spindles, rear brakes, fuel tank, stereo system, front sway bar, t-tops/t-top bar, fans and radiator. The IROC wheels, Hood(good shape, just needs paint), 700r4(w/converter), 5.7 ltr. ECU(doesn't have a prom chip), 9 bolt rear (with 2.77 ratio), factory suspension, interior, pretty much the rest of the car is up for grabs. The ground effects may be spoken for already but will know better later this week. I there is anything you want pictures of, let me know. Not really interested in shipping any of the big stuff.

Would you let the spoiler go? I bought an '87+ third brake light spoiler a while ago off of here, then I accidentally cracked it. So I've been looking around for another one.

Not sure about that. The guy we got the car from said the tranny had been replaced so its not the original tranny. He said it ran fine though.

 

is there fluid in it and is the trans in the car or allready out i just wouldnt want to buy the trans just to have it blow again

 

I didn't check with the dipstick yet but when I took the convertor off there was fluid in it. The trans is still hanging in the car. Didn't get to pull it yet.

 

well if you check and see the level and see the color and smell to see if the fluid smells burnt for the price i am very interested wouldnt be able to get out to see it till sunday at the earlyist though

jfelte, I checked the fluid today and it looks good, doesn't smell burnt and the fluid level is good.

The car had a flowmaster 3 inch catback on it and my brother already got that. Pab's, I pulled the ground effects off today and for now I have someone interested in the whole set.

Looks like the previous took the rear speaker brackets out. The rear seat belts are gray. $30 shipped for the seat belts.

 

The body portion of the under hood harness available? C100 firewall conector to wipers, AC and starter.

 

is the dash in good shape? I would also be interested in interior parts doors (not sure if you want the interior door parts) and hatch parts.

ACCLR8N, I'm pulling the whole underhood harness out. The only thing I cut off so far was the fuel pump relay for another member on here.
EJ2, let me know exactly what parts you want. I'm trying to get as much out in the next few days so the car can be removed.
