Hello folks, I have a T-5 in my 82, drive it everyday right now but just bought a '98 SS. unfortainately she needs a clutch and after paying for the car, I am broke. So I have decided that if i can get enough for a nice clutch and a B&M ripper for my LS1/T56, I will part that out and toss in an auto. I have everything needed for a t-5 swap, since it was a swapped car anyways. Clutch is a CF dual friction clutch, had it out of the car a couple months ago, still looks like new, it doesn't really get abuse so doubt its any different. Has a B&M ripper to go with it. Now the bad part, 1st syncro dropped out, 5th is quite weak. 3rd and 4th grind a bit down the road out of the driveway but clear up after a bit. all gears hold fine, second can sometimes kick out downshifting, but most of the time its good. My only goal is a nice T-56 clutch and a B&M ripper for a T-56. anything you need to know, PM me or text at 315-576-8691, I prefer texting due to being away from the computer most of the time. At the moment I am still driving this car, but should be retired beginning of the month. I don't care what goes where, but nothing will move until I know I have what I need lined up. I love this trans but this car needs work.
