What shape is the harness in?

 

I have 2 complete SD harnesses and ECMs. One has the stock 91 305 auto MEMCAL and the other has a hypertech chip. The one harness I got used and is in good shape, the other harness that was in my car is perfect and is completely labeled. Neither harness has any splices or cuts that I'm aware of. My TA ran perfectly for 40k miles that I owned it so I know the harness is good. The other harness was on a running car as well so I assume it's fine but I never heard the car run.

 

Are both for manual cars?

 

Do you have the shift plate? Would it fit an 86 or is it a different style?

 

Both harnesses are for automatic cars, but frankly I don't think there is a difference. The only wiring I do when I swap a car over is for the park/clutch/neutral switch. The 4-wire plug for the auto trans just gets zip tied out of the way and not used. The VSS is the same for either trans, and finally I wire up the back up lights from the stock auto shifter to the switch in the side of the trans. None of this affects the engine harness.

The other SD harness I have was also out of a converted 5spd car and I don't think anything there was changed either but I'll have to check to be sure.

 

shift plate is not available. the one I have is converted from an auto plate which actually works quite well. search my screen name and see how I did it.

 

I dont have one at all even to convert. So your converted one isnt for sale?

 

no the converted shift plate will be going in my GTA when I do the T56 swap this winter.

 

I am interested in one of the SD harnesses and ECU if you still have one.

 

you wouldnt happen to have the emblem that says "pontiac" that goes on the headlight do you?

 

91-92 cars don't have that emblem. the headlights are flush with the nose...

 

i got a few questions.. did this car have disc brakes? if so, how much for just the brakes, also, how much for just the rear sway bar? and one other thing, how much for all of the impact stripping on both sides of the car?

Do you have the intake snorkel and all that stuff?

 

I've got the snorkel, air filter can, throttle body bellows. I've even got the stamping that mounts the air filter can. What all do you need?

 

did this car have working ac? I need good ac components, compressor, condenser, evaporator, dries, lines, pretty much everything if it had working ac.

 

it DID have all good AC components. I swapped it all into my GTA. On that note however, if you remove the hood you can swap the whole AC setup from one car to another without cracking a line open. My 91 had cold AC (i retrofitted it all to R134) and I took it all out and dropped it into my GTA and instand cold again LOL.

 

i would like the chipped computer for the 350 with a harness if you still have it. would you take $200 for both?

The car did not have a 350 it had a 305. I have a hypertech chipped ECM and an ECM with a stock chip(305 automatic), or I can burn a custom chip for it to your liking. I assume you mean $200 plus shipping?

The custom Y pipe for the car has been sold, I do have an original single cat TPI 350 Y pipe if you want that. That is 2.25 inlet and 2.75 outlet

Edit: Not sure if the ecm sold, but if not, I am interested in it, as well as the memcal.
Memcal is the primary target, but will take both if it makes things easier.

I haven't seen anywhere whether you've sold the trans or not but if not how much are you asking for it?

 

how about the rear diff 3rd member...?? posi, I am hoping. (or locker or however you want to describe it). Should be a 10 bolt, yes?

 

Replied back to ya asking if you would sell the memcal seperately, and requested pricing either way (ecm w/memcal, or just memcal).

 

MEMCAL is sold. I still have 2 7730 ECMs.

Trans is sold (i'll update that)

The rear is a 10 bolt with a good posi, 2.73 gears and drum brakes.

 

I am restoring a yellow 92 GTA and I am looking for the 14 mm bolt and metal clip that holds the alternator wiring. I believe that all 89-92 TPI cars came with these parts. There is no part numbers available for these parts so I am looking for good condition, rust free parts. Below is a picture for the bolt and clip.



I am also looking for 3 throttle body coolant clamps for 1991-92 TPI cars. I have tried buying them new but the 2 part numbers I have are for worm style clamps. I am looking for clamps in good condition that aren't rusty. Here are some pics:








I also need 1 charcoal canistor hose holder. The part number is: 10105274 and unfortunately it is discontinued. The holder bolts in just above the passenger side front fender ground effect and guides the hose through the ground effect. This part was on every 1990-92 Firebird's that came with TPI. I think you may have one in the ziploc bag in your picture. I would pay $10 for it plus shipping if its in good shape.

Andy I've got a lot of bad news for you LOL.

The charcoal canister hose bracket was shipped when I sold the ground effects pieces.

My car had all worm style hose clamps instead of the tower style ones you posted.

I DO have the alternator wiring clamp but it would need media blasted and re-plated, it is not perfect.

Looking at your sig however, I do have some of the items you're looking for. I have a rear passenger side marker. It is not NOS but is in perfect condition. I also have a leather shift ****. It is not NOS but is in very good shape. It may not be exactly what you are looking for but it is very nice and I'd let it go cheap if you're interested.

I do have the gfx but wanted to sell them whole so I'm not sitting on bits and pieces. would you be interested in the whole shot? Everything minus the front and rear bumper covers and front fender ground effects.

 

I recently got a base model 1991 Firebird and the only damaged gfx is the driver's lower door section. Appreciate the offer though. If you decide to part with it let me know. I'll keep tabs with this string. Thanks. Does it have Trans Am lettering on it as the pictured passenger side?
