Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

im selling my used bryant crank and carrillo rods. im going big block in my racecar so these have to go.

The crank weighs 34 pounds IIRC. it has 2.017 inch mains and honda rod journals (1.85) it also has 3.250 stroke.

the rods are 6" long they are H-beam radius slot and they are bushless i have the special coated wristpins that are included.they also also have the carr sps rod bolt option.

willing to trade for parts of equal value for my 85 camaro or for my 84 camaro all drag car. interested in anything that is the same value as my parts.

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

qtps are like new there is a minor rub spot on the side wall of one, and that was a typo on my part about the coil overs they are single adjustable qa1's with the 3 way ****, they are not that old maybe a 1 1/2 years old.

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

Hey sorry about the slow reply, been busy with work. Those rims are really nice looking. Give me a few days to think about it as winter is coming and I need to decide what I would need for next year.

Thanks

Are the rods made for the Honda journals? What pistons an bearings would you use with this setup? Two piece or one piece seal?

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

Yes they are Honda rod size.

And pistons you could basically you could go through anyone on them. I would go with the lightest so she'll rev fast and be able to hold 9k rpm easy.

The rod bearings are just the Honda rod size bearings and the mains you can get through clevite but you would have to get spacers made to put it into a stock gm block. It's 2 piece rear main seal aswell.

Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know, thanks

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

I've been told no cuz of the size of the mains but I don't see why not it's forged and it's not a cheap crank by anymeans. The rods should be able to handle them to. The only thing I wouldn't do would spray it.

I think the initial hit of turbo won't be harse enough to break them I mean NASCAR makes 800 horse and they don't break Em.

It would totally your choice tho. I would just that bitch sing at 9000 and she would make some mad power with some sb2 heads

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

Are the mains 350 size or early 283/327 size? I wouldn't be spraying or turboin it, my plan was 6-71 blown..

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

They are 2.017 mains. Which is smaller than a 283. You would gave to get spacers made like when you put a 350 crank into a 400 block.

Re: Bryant crank and Carrillo rods

I've never had it in a block but it will fit in some sb2 blocks. But you could put it into any small block with spacers made.

Seems's to me that is old super stock stuff. Which means all custom parts and machining. I'd sell it on Ebay.
