From what I remember it came out of a 88 IROC. I got it from another TGO member here. Worked perfectly till removed. I removed it as I went with a LS1 master and booster along with an adjustable rear prop and line lock for the front

if there is no way of knowing if it is the 1LE prop valve its ok i was just trying to see if i could find a used one and save me a couple bucks but i got a site that sells them for around $100. Good luck with your sale

ADDING

Edelbrock strut tower brace. I have all the hardware for it. One of the brackets for where it mounts to the body got bent and I had to unbend it. Still works fine just isnt perfect SOLD

just for reference, there is no difference in the mystical 1le prop valve and a regular 4 wheel disk brake prop valve. theyre the same part.


im am interesed in the xe284 cam though. im guessing its flat tappet? if to so many miles on it, and are the lifters labeled for where there were in the engine?

 

I thought they where the same as I cant see a prop valve been different in the years as it just wouldnt be worth it in GM's eyes

I got the cam from a friend of mine and I talked to him tonight and got the scoop on it. He said it may have 200kms on it at most as the motor was stripped for a 383 but ended up going with a roller cam with it. The lifters are labeled but with only that many kms they wouldnt have even been broken in yet. Let me know if your still interested

 

If he drove it 200km withot doing the proper cam break in, no thanks.
