Strange Engineering 12 Bolt Rear End 3.42 For Sale Only 2-3k Miles On It
Like the title says, Im selling a Strange Engineering 12 Bolt Posi Chevrolet Rear End with 3.42 gears and LT1 brake setup. The rearend is installed on the car and has only been driven between 2-3k miles before I parked the car to turn it into a project car and havent driven it since.
Local buyers only, Im in Ventura County, CA.
Im looking to sell this to someone who will buy the car and take the rearend with it. Car is a 1988 Trans Am GTA outside looks good alot of the interior has been taken out by me- no engine, with a 700R4 Tranny and Spohn drveshaft. Lots of small parts like radiator and other under the hood stuff is still there.
Originally I paid 2500 for the rearend but not sure what to list the price at now so make me an offer, remember this also comes with the car- NO lowballs.
If someone wants this but doesnt want to take the whole car you can remove the rearend in my street and then have a junkyard tow it away, but thats a last resort I would like to sell it to someone who will just take it away and put all the parts to goos use.

You know I was nt really sure what to ask for it but Id say 1800 OBO- thats half price for the rearend and 500 for the car sounds about right

man i need something like this for my car but money is tight its a good price if i can work some money up quickly maybe able to work something out do you think you can post pics of the car and maybe some rearend shots that would be great. are you done messen with cars for now or just this project i ask cause i have some bowtie heads and the matching vic jr bowtie intake to go with the heads that we can do some trading and cash for if you are intrested.

Unfortunately Im done with projects for now. Im not really interested in a trade. I can take some pics tomorrow of the car and I could take a couple pics of the rearend too if I can get a good angle, Ill definitely at least be able to get a pic of the cover area. the only problem with that is I dont want to pull the rearend out of the car, I just dont have the space to do it here, since I dont like jacking the car up on my driveway. The only way it could work I think is if I shipped the whole car to you. If youre interested in having the whole car shipped to you, thats something we might be able to work out. I have no idea what that would cost but I know freight shipping on a rear end alone is probably 250. Let me know.
