I'm still looking for a SLP Cold Air Intake System for my 1989 Mass Air Flow Trans Am but found this online just now. Anyone looking for the Dual Intake for speed density, check out this link.

Why not just custom make one yourself out of two regular intakes? I might just do that and sell it for a $1000...
Found the correct air box in London of all places and the price was right. Oh and YES, $1000 for intake equals douchebag.

I was thinking about that @Carlos, I just made mines by installing the AF @ the end of the stock intake tube for now.
@akanitro dam way out their huh....yea i dont care if its an slp piece & they dont make it anymore. Who wants to pay $1g for a CAI?!?!?! Better yet I feel sorry for the guy who buys it.

Rare ir not, it can be made. I rather buy a pair of 91/92 GTA tail lights that cant be remade for 1/2 of what hes asking. Imma see if i can make T-ram cai with oval piping i have.

A G note buys a brand new hood and airbox from Hawk's and leaves enough left over to get it painted. And, it probably aids airflow more than that CAI. PT Barnum said it best: There's one born every minute.

I can make a list long enough to go to pluto of things that 1k can buy, so that argument is about pointless. Point is, this is an increadibly rare part, you will likey not find another for sale for years if not decades/ever, and they do bring good money from the right people. Sure you can build something to do the same thing, but its still not the same part.
again, this is why nobody makes parts for 3rd gens.... people are cheap and cant even get excited about exotic rare parts like this.

It's a perfectly acceptable position if you believe that, "form follows function".Originally Posted by //<86TA>\\

See he is a douche for 1g & not the rest of the parts. Yeah a show car would be nice for that, it would prolly be the last item for me to buy....lol
