This was made for my 1991 Firebird with Hooker Super Comp headers. Designed to clear the factory crossmember and Spohn bolt-on driveshaft loop....was using Random Technologies torque arm and it cleared without problems.

Y-pipe is dual 3" into single 4" design. After merge, it follows factory routing in 4" mandrel bent pipe, up over the axle into a 4" Flowmaster muffer. There are O2 bungs welded into both sides of the y-pipe.

Going with duals so no longer need. I live in NJ and will not ship this. I will meet up with buyer within reasonable distance.

Mufflex charges $937 plus shipping (as per their website) and the Spohn driveshaft loop is $89.

I am asking $450 or best offer for the whole package.

If you have or are thinking about getting Hooker Super Comps, this is the complete system you need.

Honestly, shipping would be over $100 or more because from the collector flange back to the axle is all one piece.


I would rather sell locally unless you are serious about covering the actually shipping and packaging costs.

 

Cut it off after the y pipe? I would be interested if you would ship it. I don't need the t pipe any ways cuz I run Ed quays and the y pipe won't fit.

I'm interested, curious if they would bolt up to the set of Hedman's I have. We're not too far from each other either.

 

Let me get a pic of the whle system up and then you can draw lines where you would like it cut.

Of course, if I am going to cut the system to ship it, full payment is expected before the sawzall gets plugged in.

To the Hedman headers....I am not sure of the orientation of the flanges or the spacing. I do not want to tell you they would fit only to find out they wouldn't.

All I know is that the system does fit Hooker Super Comps because they are on the motor now.

the hedmans are in a different spot, any exhaust shop should be able to "make it work" though

Would you be willing to throw the intermediate pipe in for a pic?

I need to know how far it goes up to the front to see it sticks past farther than my bmr torque arm.

 

It will the not fit back in as i have the th350 and spohn torque arm in there. The L on the crossmember hangs too low. The intermediate pipe was deigned to clear stock crossmember.

 

Does this clear the factory panhard support brace? I noticed you have the one that lowers it.

So for the questions. Don't wanna have to mod a bunch of ****.

 

It does clear the stock location panhard rod. I was going to run the th350 with a jegster t/a and have true duals fabricated. With the dropped panhard rod, it would give more room. However i am just going with duals that dump before the axle now as it has become a track only car.

 

If it will help you, I can attach the rear part of the intermediate pipe and bring the front up as close as I can to show where the pipes would go.

Let me know before I take the over-the-axle part and muffler out this weekend.

intermediate pipe goes right up to the collectors on the headers. If you have Hooker Super Comps...this bolts right to the flanges and is a complete exhaust.

I could do $300 shipped ont he over the axle and muffler setup (providing I could find a box large enough) and $175 shipped on the y-pipe. I would need a commitement from both parties otherwise I am bit leary on cutting up a perfectly good exhaust system
