I have a re-built Borg Warner T5 transmission for sale. Originally out of a 1986 Trans Am, Players Challenge car the project has been parted out, and this is one of the last pieces.

The transmission has no secrets or tricks done to it, it is a stock, new seals and gaskets transmission. Was re-done a few years ago - and has been sitting since, has not been installed anywhere since re-build.

It has the clutch fork, and clutch to go with it, including flywheel - the flywheel should be ok - the clutch needs replacing. It does not have slave cylinders or anything else to go with it.

I am looking for $600.00 OBO - ( was 700.00 )will consider reasonable offers. Will not respond to out of line offers.
- Was mounted behind a L69 V8 305
- Rear-end was 3:73

The transmission is not a world class per part number look up.

Sorry, I prefer not to ship transmission, and prefer local pick-up, or a reasonable agreed upon driving distance.

the number on the side states that it is out of a 1984 camaro/firebird v8.

 

Are you interested in trading for other 3rd gen Camaro parts?? I have Eibach lowering spring, frame connectors, a low mile 5-speed non ex Players challenge or maybe a set of factory 2.02/1.88 cylinder heads and some other GM parts if you're interested in trade or partial trade plus $$$ ??
