I'm mainly over on ls1tech with the same user id and you can check my feedback there as well. I thought I'd post this here as I believe the gen 1 guys can still use the lt1 t56 setup. I've recently parted out my lt1 car since I've bought a ls1. My ls1 also has a built t56 so now this is a spare trans that I really don't need to keep around.

This is my original t56 I had in my car since I bought it new. It was rebuilt by the dealer once at 75k miles for third gear issues and now I had it gone through again and installed all the parts below in it. I bought all the parts through thegearbox.org and had a local t56 guru here in Chicago go through it. I basically dropped off the trans, he opened it up and told me what it needed and I ordered it all plus the upgrades I wanted. I had it in the car for a whopping 5 miles before I found the ls1 car.

The trans comes with the slave/master, lt1 bellhousing. I can probably include some other parts for a conversion into a gen 1 sbc car if needed, let me know what you may need.
Also - SLP lightened billet flywheel (also 5 miles on it), and spec stage 2 clutch (about 4k miles on it) with B&M short throw shifter.

Here's a list of my inovice and all the stuff that went in the trans. This list doesn't include the labor. It shifts smooth as butter.
