LT1 Converted intake

Sold

LT1 Intake converted to SBC with Dizzy whole with correct angle and hold down provision. I had this intake for a year no problems. Went back to TPI for aesthetics and to keep the car appearing stock. This will not work with Sportsman II or 90 degree middle intake bolt Heads, this will work with 87-92 TBI and TPI heads including Corvette Alluminum 73 degree. This thing mad the car pretty crazy mad as it still pulled beyond the TPI asthma 5k.

LT1INtake.com did the conversion and I purchased this from another Forum member over a year ago.

I will do Best offer as we are all a big dysfunctional family here.

Paid $250 shipped but willing to take best offer. I was going to use this on another 350 i want to put on my Jeep but kept the I-6.

PM me for contact info and pics, i may sell this to a friend $200, i will be sure to post if sold. Best offer takes it, just taking up space in my shop.

Best offer takes it, Looking to sell quick.

Re: LT1 Converted intake

The two ports on the back connect to the remote thermostat via hose run against the fire wall. The lt1 does not run water through the intake so the provision was done in the back. Most of these are in the front and looks crappy so its for looks having the ports in the back. The remote t-stat i have has four ports one for return to radiator, temp sensor that would go on the tpi intake and the two ports for the water running from the converted lt1 intake exits from the heads. It ran no problems at all. You can make a braket that goes off the valve cover center bolt to hold the remote tstat. It didnt stick out and had no cooling issues.

As far as electronics, i used tpi everything including the tb from a 88, there is no clearence issues. I looked this stuff up on the web when i was looking into the conversion over a year ago. I didnt believe it would work and seemed too involved but i can assure you if yhe woukd work with world heads i would have kept it. All the benefits of lt1 flow and no optispark bs(no offense to lt1 ownerz)
