This is a Borg Warner 9 bolt 7.750 rear end for a 1982-92 F-body , Camaro / Firebird.
This rear end is complete with axle's ,3 series posi carrier w/ 3:23 gears. , stock diff cover , and PBR caliper adapters.

I bought this off of craigslist with intentions of getting it in the car and race ready within 2 week. Upon tear down / inspection I learned that the "posi Cones" were about to the end of their life. There are no "grooves" in the carrier. I am sure the cones have never been machined down and that was an option but not one I personally was looking for.

Parts are available but from Australia only, I could not rely on the shipping company as time was an issue for me. All the bearings , seals, pinion were never touched. I pulled the diff cover , carrier , ring gear and I stopped right there after talking to 9bolt.com . 7 to 10 days was to long for me.
I ended up spending twice as much rebuilding my 10 bolt and the 9 bolt axles are still thicker.

I can machine the cones down for an additional 25.00 fee, but only to YOUR exact specifications.

Are you sure this was not a 3.27 gears? I have a 9 bolt with 4.10 gears I order years ago from Miles. I am still looking for another one for street driving. I really wanted the 3.45 gears but a 3.27 rear this might also work. I think 9 bolts all came with 2.77, 3.27 or 3.45 gears.

yeah it's a 3:27 then , i forgot the 9 bolts are a little differant then the gm stuff. i rolled the wheel and counted how many times the driveshaft turned. i'll cound the teeth tonight for an exact ratio.
