Swapping to a single plane intake?
Here I have for sale an intake system for a single plane EFI setup. Can be used for MAF or SD.
Intake Elbow: 6061.com 4150 flange forward facing 90* intake elbow with three bolt LS1 throttle body pattern. Originally $225 plus shipping. Brackets have been fabricated and a block welded to the elbow to use OEM GM style cables. Uses your existing TV cable, and a direct replacement throttle cable from a 90's minivan. Throttle cable will be included.
Throttle Body: Ebay Ported throttle body: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-LS6-Tran...item4aa1c95fa0 originally $105 (without a core). The arm has been modified to accept a TV cable. The hole in the blade has been expoxied shut.
Filters: AFE Pro-Guard 7. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AFE-72-40035 for the SD configuration. originally $70
or K&N, not sure of the PN. They're always around $50
Both filters have damage and need cleaning. The AFE was hit when my serpentine belt broke, and some of the wire mesh was broken. I can't see any areas where filtration was compromised though. The K&N rubbed against some metal and some silicone was worked into the damaged areas to seal it.
Intake tube: The SD setup is a piece of 4" SS tube, and a silicone 4" coupler
The MAF setup is about 10" of 4" aluminum tube, and the OEM '88 MAF to filter can tube and a small chunk of 3.5" aluminized exhaust pipe to connect the K&N filter to the MAF tube. You will need one 90* silicone 4" to 3.5" coupler. I had to cannibalize it and cut it up.
Does not include MAP, MAF, TPS, or IAC motor.
$250 for either configuration as shown.
