AFR 1040's 60cc Chambers
AFR 195 L98 Street Ports, 2.05/1.6 valves, bought these as they sit from anesthes about a year ago. He idled them less than 2 hours in his garage and switched set-ups, Im now going LSX. They are 60cc combustion chambers done by AFR so they are still covered by AFRs lifetime warranty! They have the standard #8017 valve springs, these are good to go. $1200 Shipped to lower 48!
If anyone has any questions on these, Anesthes was kind enough to provide the original order# from AFR in post# 15 and can be used to bring up there build sheet.

Re: AFR 1040's 60cc Chambers
Probably didn't even idle them that long. I drove the car in and out of the garage like 5 times, and ran it long enough to do a hot valve adjustment. I got a killer deal on a procharger and needed to reduce the compression ratio to run it. Switched to big chamber AFR 210s.
With the 60cc chambers, these are basically a direct replacement for L98 vette motors. Do this and a cam and make serious power. They go for $1517 from summit new, which these basically are, and consider the couple hundred bucks for AFR (not some lame local hack) to mill 'em to 60cc.

. Personally I'd LOVE to keep them for a rainy day but I want to get this IROC done, it'll be 2 years off the road in January. Joined: Jul 1999

Thanks Joe, I've been getting alot of low ballers, then they say theyd rather just spend the $1500 for them new and not have to worry about problems etc,

When I went to the 210s I had to get a special intake because most off the shelf wouldn't cover the ports. It ended up costing me twice as much in the end over the "deal" I got on the supercharger.

Are these the "newer" 195cc Eliminators?

Re: AFR 1040's 60cc Chambers
Will these bolt up to a 1206 TPIS Mini Ram? What is the compression ratio on them? What size valves do they have? Do they have any sort of valve job on them? How much better are they than the 113 heads?

Regarding the 113 heads, even in the hands of an accomplished machinist, during the wettest of a wet dream, will the 113's ever come CLOSE to these in terms of flow or combustion efficiency.

Everyone else already answered your questions regarding the 113's, and I agree.
