12 BOLT for a 3rd gen $1000
I picked up an 86 TA with this 12 bolt in it and found a moser 12 bolt a week later. I no longer need this one. It has 4.11 gears ,posi and disc brakes. There isn't an mile on the gears or brakes because they never got a torque arm mount for it and lost intrest. I don't know about the axle splines. a $1000 takes it

Re: 12 BOLT for a 3rd gen $1000
This is a 12 bolt from 40 years ago modified with the correct mounts to fit in a 3rd gen Camaro or firebird. The gears do appear to be new. I feel they probably are because when I bought the car the rear end was in they didn't have a torque arm in it and the drive shaft wasn't hooked up so I don't think they never had it on the road with this rear end. as far as the brakes are concerned I'm not sure what they are from or who made the kit but they appear to be new also

Interested in this, but in the picture I don't see any way to mount a torque arm. Are you sure the weren't going to "4 link" it?
Torque arm mount is supposed to be right next to the yoke, or sometimes people can fabricate something thru the webbin or make a coller incorporating a few cover gasket holes or a combination of collar/ webbing holes.
This looks to be just a regular 12 bolt, out of a truck if I was guessing. Car 12 bolts usually had 2 canted "eyelets" on top of the housing for mounting the cockeyed upper trailing arms.
If you've got a picture detailing how a torque arm mounts up, post it up, and this will sell quick. But without a torque arm mount, it might as well be an elephant as far as a rear end "for" a 3rd gen camaro goes. No offense intended.
