Dynamic EFI / EBL FLash - $365

What's up guys... ...I'm selling a brand new, un-used Dynamic EFI / EBL Flash set up with everything included, including the USB/serial adapter. It does NOT have the "port" mod done, but you could have it done for another $25 at Dynamic EFI. Again, brand new, never used.

It's a great EFI set-up, but I ended up going another route with my car. Everything together, as you can see from the paperwork was $465. I'll take $365 plus shipping, for an easy $100 off.

Thanks guys,
Chris

Re: Dynamic EFI / EBL FLash - $365

The port mod is needed for TPI, correct?

Also, are there instructions on how to set it up and tune everything? What else is needed? I want to go dynamic efi but really have no clue on how to do it.

Yes. Dynamic EFI will do it for $25, plus shipping of course.

As far as set up, yes, there are instructions. Basically (at least for my '89) i would've had to move a few wires around at the ECM connector (Instructions are on the Dynamic EFI site), and use the MAF wires to wire in a MAP. pretty easy. ...and then there's a disk of different tunes to start with, with instructions on how to set constants like injectors, displacement, etc. etc. It's all pretty easy to that point. Ultimately, you do need some basic understanding of tuning though. LOTS of guys have had tremendous success, and there's LOTS of tech support on this forum.

Is there any way to keep the MAF setup? I've already bought several parts like a new MAF sensor and K&N CAI setup, plus I would have to buy the later style TPI intake.

Well the computer uses readings from a MAP sensor which measure pressure, as opposed to the MAF, which measure air flow volume. So in that regard, I don't THINK so, but I could be wrong. There are plenty of reasons to make any decision you need to make, but I wouldn't NOT go EBL because of that. Big improvement over the MAF set up.

Re: Dynamic EFI / EBL FLash - $365

The port mod, as I understand it is for "multiport" like our TPI's as opposed to a throttle body style intake. ...as it is, you can definitely plug it into a laptop.

...and since it's an entire ECM, you can really use on whatever you like, assuming you have the proper harness. For my '89, there was minimal harness work required, and detailed instructions as to exactly which wires to move.
