Rear LS1 calipers and brackets still available.

1 Pair LS1 Rear PBR Calipers and Brackets. OE, used, not remanufactured or rebuilt, so no guarantees. Calipers have natural cast finish, NOT painted. Brackets are painted. $50 shipped within continental US. Outside, we'll discuss.

Are you in LA often?

Re: Brake Stuff: 4thgen LS1

Hi Dave. The front calipers have been sold. Even if the front sale falls through, there are other people ahead of you who've expressed interest in them.

The rear calipers are still available. Someone had expressed interest, but he hasn't replied back to me. If you're interested in them, I won't be in LA anytime soon, so I'd be shipping them. It would probably only take a couple of days to the LA area.

Re: LS1 Calipers and Brackets, Rotors; Nice Stuff!

*BUMP* Everybody likes to bump nice rears, right? And these are as nice as you're likely to bump into. Search ebay and look at all the nasty calipers for sale, at ridiculously high prices.

I got this stuff a few years ago to install LS1 brake upgrades. But LS1 rear brakes DON'T fit 9-bolts. So instead, Scott at Big Brake Upgrade designed the C5/C6 rear brake conversion, that he currently offers, specifically for me and my 9-bolt. He's awesome! The C5/C6 conversion is similar to the LS1 conversion, but better and more versatile than the LS1 conversion. So for people with 9-bolt axles who want an LS1-similar rear brake upgrade, here's the thread I posted about it a couple of years ago.
C6 Z06 Brakes; C6 Rear Brake Conversion, NEW from BBU: C6/C5 Std, C6 Z51, C6 Z06 - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

If you have a 9-bolt, then THAT'S the rear conversion for you, not LS1. Cool thing is, not only will C5 and C6 calipers fit, but also LS1 calipers will fit, too, but ONLY with C5/C6 pad abutment brackets, NOT LS1 brackets. So these rear calipers have that going for them. I could've done that, but if you checked out that thread, then you saw that I did something completely different, but which was also supported by that conversion, showing the versatility that makes it such a cool conversion. But to be clear, the black calipers and brackets pictured in that linked thread are NOT these LS1 calipers and brackets. They're C6 Z51 calipers and brackets. LS1, C5 and C6 calipers are similar and will interchange, but the pad abutment brackets won't.

BTW, I don't follow my sales threads, nor any threads, for that matter. I keep notifications disabled and have for 16 years, except for PM. So if you post a reply, then unless I happen to check the thread, I'm not going to see it. So the best way to reach me is by PM.

As for this thread, it might fade into oblivion, then months or years from now, somebody might find it, if not concluded, and contact me. We see old threads revived all the time, much to the dismay of some members. It happens. And it happened to me recently about something I'd advertised MANY years ago, something extremely rare, that slipped under the radar back then, and I still had it! So that "longshot" paid off for someone. Don't let these calipers and rotors go until they're extremely rare. We'll all be dead by then anyway! So why wait? You're not likely to find nicer parts, now, or in the future.

Out! Thanks!

I will say, I opened the box yesterday with the front calipers, very nice. BTW, shipping was quick, sent out the day after I sent payment.

Just wanted to give a shout out for Mike!
Outstanding seller, hand delivered the rotors to my house.
Who does that?

Bumping this back TTT. Original post updated: Rear calipers and brackets are still available.

And thanks, Mike and Dave, for the kind words. The stars just kinda fell into alignment!

I'll take those rears.
Sorry, I misunderstood what style of caliper. LAFireboyd kindly caught my mistake trying to make sure I got what I wanted. Very clean parts, wish I could have used them!
