T-5 Speedometer Connector needed

I need a connector for the speedometer input on a Worldclass T-5 Transmission that came out of an 89 Trans Am. I swapped my 700R4 and the automatic and manual connectors are different even though the transmissions where of the same year. I am looking for the part or information on where to get the part. It is a discontinued item and can't be purchased from GM.

Just need the connector

I only need the connector. My new T-5 has the speed sensor. I just need to connect it to my automatic wiring harness that has a different connector. If you have the T-5 connector from a 87 to 89 manual Trans Am or firebird wiring harness, I will purchase that. Only 87 to 89 will match up.

Thanks for the reply

Hardness is sold complete. May be a hard connector to find as most sell the complete uncut hardness.

does your connector have yellow & purple wire. or is it the older style vss. I think they used two different connectors.

Ive got a 89 junk TBI harness and a 87 TPI harness. can you post pics of your speed sensor I should have the connector you need

I'll Try to get a pic tonight. A local GM car dealer that sells parts told me that the T-5 connector was the same on 87 thru 89 trans Ams and Firebirds. I will try to get a picture tonight, but the connecter on the T-5 has two small spades and are on individual posts and looks like it locks on one side. Typical GM connector.

Found my connector that I needed today on a junk 2000 camaro wiring harness. Installed it and everything is working great. My T-5 swap is complete.
