I'm looking for any Chevy small block that is ready to run (i.e. no spun bearings, scorched pistons, etc.)
I just want something to throw in this beater station wagon I've got. The 305 in my Impala spun a rod bearing and I'd rather just find a cheap running small block to throw back in.
Again, cheap is the word. I'll pay up to $100 for a decent small block.

After you realize that you won't get a running SBC for that kind of money let me know because I've got a completely rebuilt 350 all forged rotating assembly (my post is in the PARTS FOR SALE section) I'm only like a couple of hours away!

is where i just found and brought home a good running with warranty 1983 305 engine for 200 bucks tonight at a yard near here, so now i have something that runs good and is correct for the trans am

i have 2 very good running 305 tbi drivetrains that i'm selling for $500 each. includes complete 305tbi motor with all it's necessary accessories as well as a good condition 700-r4, the harness and ecm.

the only thing worth money to me would be the transmissions which i would take $150 off of and the ecm's which i would take $25 off of. both motors are still in their cars as well so you could come see that they work well.

one of them i just spent $800 a few months ago installing new sensors, plugs, rotor, distributor, all the fun things. i just want out of them.
