Looking for a Steering Column
My Column is busted up on my 88 Formula,
I need a new one. So, with that said, Who has a column that is compatiable with an 88?

Re: Looking for a Steering Column
I have an 88 column that isnt busted up, but does need a new ignition key switch (so worn it works without the key) and it needs a new wiper switch as well. $25 plus shipping, maybe you can make a good one from this one and yours.

Actually, that is the reason why I am getting rid of mine. Wiper switch is jacked, You can start the car without the key, and the plastics are busted up.

Re: Looking for a Steering Column
If you can't find anything, I got mine from Columns Galore (http://www.columnsgalore.com) and was quite pleased with what I got. Granted, it cost $370, but that includes round trip shipping so you can send your core back. Thing looks/feels/acts brand new.

Re: Looking for a Steering Column
If I am not mistaken the VATS column has a different harness on the column than mine. I am looking for a 100% bolt in deal.
Plus not to be rude, I never seen anyone charge half of what you are asking for just the column.

No issues Bro, you can buy mine at my price now, (assuming it fits your needs) or wait until that 40 dollar column comes along...really just depends if you need it, or want it

Re: Looking for a Steering Column
I am still able to drive the car, and the column has been that way for over a year so... I can wait.
Re: Looking for a Steering Column
I have one in nice shape out of my 88 Iroc. It is a tilt column, and everything works ok. It had cruise control, and delay wipers as well. Wiper switch seems to work fine and high beams, signals etc seem ok too. It has a grant mini steering wheel I will give with it too.
I just posted up a huge sale of all my project car and parts, and was hoping to part everything out as one sale, but I guess I am going to have to sell things individually so maybe this is best.
How bout $50 plus shipping? I send via UPS corporate rate, so it should be pretty cheap.

There's more pics of it here, just scroll to the bottom:
