Hey guys im new to this site but i am in desperate need of some parts. Today i took my 1988 camaro down to the shop and come to find out my engine is shot, according to the mechanic the crank shaft hanger to hold it in place is gone and the crank shaft is moving destroying the engine. so now im in desperate need of an engine. im looking for:

i would lik to have the transmission with it if at all possible. i need all wiring and ECU and main components to make a full swap. i prefer a 5 spd tranny. i dont need ne thing fancy or built, just something to get it back on the road. i have about $1000 to spend so plz if u got the stuff i need plz help me out. I got an '84 berlinetta, full digital interior with a strong running carbeurated 2.8 V6 up to a 700R4. Only issue is NY.

 

all i need is a motor and transmission. i dont need another car.

$700 OBO just cause it's rare to find a berlinetta that all the digital things work in it. Interior is a nice dark blue. Front clip is just about perfect. Doors are ok, no real body damage other than rust. Complete for the most part, only issue other than body is the roof liner really.

 

i got a 5 spd for a 6cyl

 

i have a 2.8 v6 still attached to its 700r4, wiring harness and computer. missing a few accessories (id have to check on the exact ones). ill basically take whatever you want to give me for it. its in south new jersey, depending on offer and location i may be able to meet you somewhere. if you want pics i can do that for you as well.

 

i will keep u all in mind. ive still got a few local things 2 look at. if ne one can beat the price of $600 for a 2.8 v6 with all wiring and everything than u lmk. i haver a good working v6 tranny, i only need new tranny if upgrading to 305 or bigger. thanx alot guys for the help. peace.

that is possible, how many miles on it? i have a v6 tranny already that is a 5spd. i would have to look n2 shipping. no way that i could pic it up.

 

Ive got a 305 from an 89 t/a with 125k on the motor(needs valve seals....small puffs of oil smoke on start up and it goes awy) and a 700r4 tranny with only 6k miles on it.also have all wiring and everything your needing. Engine runs great and tranny works great.Asking 1000 dollars for everything.

 

you can have everything i have for 150, if you want a spare trans for parts. its from an 87 and had 130000 miles on it, was running ok when pulled for a v8 swap. shipping would probably be killer, but i can check it out if you like

 

i have a t-5 our a 91 camaro 305 tpi motor. and a b&m ripper short throw shifter. im asking 500 for the tranny with clutch

I also have 2 400 short blocks. one with 10k on it with forged pistons, asking 500 and the other is stock .040 over stock and only 5k on it and im asking 300 but it needs a new crank or the treads drilled and taped.

I have a 305 and a 700R4. i'm in the process of putting all new bearings, rings and seals in. it has 350 heads. also, I have a rebuild kit for the tranny too. I was going to convert my 85 Z28 into a DD, but scratched that plan and am sticking to my stroker and 400 tranny.
