WTB: Tranny!!!!!

so today my transmission blew out (good ol' 700r4) and i need a new one...either that or a manual conversion kit w/ manual tranny....anyone have any ideas? i live in new jersey and i need something close by cuz i am out of work

Well if you know how to rebuild them I have one disasembled and have a rebuil kit for it I'd like to get rid of. If you combine the 2 you would have a good trans.

I've got a 700R4 form my 87 Iroc-Z I parted. It has some work done to it but I don't have paperwork for it as I bought it like that. Ran strong in the car and no slipping. i was hoping to get 400 for it as just to rebuild them it cost around 800 to 1200. I am in Lancaster PA

thanks guys...i actualy just picked up 2 from someone close by to me....1 with 30,000 orig. miles on it and one with a shift kit and 2800 stall for 225...thanks though for your help guys...i'm sorry i couldnt havent bought anyfrom ya!
