Dont need a rebuild kit as the tranny was rebuilt only 15 k ago. Just need the servo for when i install the shift kit.

i was just checking out a post couple days ago, and someone was selling used servos for 25 bucks and new ones for 65. So anywhere in that price reange is fine with me. I will need pics first so any you have send to my email, JSimba711@NetZero.com thanks!

Hey man i am having a guy do a high performance shift kit in my car with a vett servo and hes doing other little stuff. But i dont know what its going to be like. Could you tell me how it should fell and also why is he installing a vett servo and why are you also?

The corvette servo is bigger, and allows for firmer shifts. 1-2 shift is the noticable one. The servo applies the band in the transmission, which is used to operate 2nd and 4th gears. I would recommend a wider kelvar band to really get a good shift, and it will last a long time.

I had my trans with a 2800 stall, vette servo, wide kevlar band, extra discs in my clutch packs, and a B+M shift kit. It would chips the tires into 2nd gear at pretty light throttle, and would SPIN the tires shifting into second under heavy throttle. When I put big tires on it obviously hooked good and would lurch the car forward during the shift instead of having a lag that a stock trans would
