Axle/Gears: 3.73 on both
Trans sensor
anyone have a transmission sensor i have a 1984 Z28. its the one with the plastick gears i thinki have a 700r4 my tranny pan is square so if anyone can help me out thanks?

these are the pics of the top and the gears. also what tranny do i have can you id it from the pan?

That's the speedometer gear and sleeve. You just need a new gear. They're identified by color or the number of teeth. You can get a new one at the dealership or a local transmission shop probably has a box full of used ones.

It's a 700R4, but those particular parts are used by other transmissions as well, so they're pretty easy to find.
