looking for anyone selling a 305 5.0L
for a '84 trans am. bought it as a project. always wanted a KITT style car.
carburetted motor.
have carb but need block to be good. This one's sounding very bad and oil leaking out of every orifice it seems.
heads not necessary but if all together fine.
can get 1 used with 3 yr warranty for like $800 shipped.
can anyone beat that in here?

I have a good running 305ho I pulled out of a 84 trans am 200 bucks come and get it.

i have a great running one also but im too far also people complain that they cant beat 3.8l and the v6 mustangs with there 305 but idk what they are talking about i stomp those cars with those motor you could get mine for 200 also but like i said im still too far btw mines coming out of a 91 trans am

But I have to put this on hold right now due to other pressing issues.
Also need to give motor a good looking over like a compression test etc.

well if you get your issues worked out i have a 305 i am pulling right now that has a comp cam. With the right intake and carb you could have it in the 13s.

Ohio is a pretty good ways from here.
All things considered...prob too far like milwaukee and conneticut are.
