I just want to buy a complete engine, everything on it including brackets, ECM, wiring harness, and exhaust manifolds if possible.

I have a whole 89 Formula parting out with every thing you need. I a in Virginia. Tho I have the computer I am not 100% sure it is good. If your interested I can tell you the story on that when we work on a deal. 305 TPI BTW 114K miles

 

I have an 86 Camaro which currently has a 305 TPI in it. Last fall I purchased a used L-98, my plan is to replace 305 with this motor (as well as change the transmission from an automatic to a T-5 at the same time). Right now I am still collecting parts for this project but I am getting pretty close to having everything I need. My plan was to wait until spring or early summer to get started on this project but if we could work something out I might consider moving these plans up (although I will say flat out it is too damned cold to do anything right now!).

I don’t think there is anything “special” about this motor. It is stone stock, the car has 140,000+ miles on it but it has a replacement short block (un-known specifications, seems to be very close to an original 305 tune port). The motor is complete and is reliable, is still in the car so you could hear it run, drive it etc. before making a final decision. I live in Topeka Kansas so we could arrange to meet somewhere so you could look this over closely.
